NOTHING UP
OUR SLEEVE.

Analytics, and only if you say yes

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It is consent-gated: the Google tag is not loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and nothing is recorded until you press Accept on the banner. Declining is a real choice — the tag never loads, and the site works identically either way.

Your choice is stored in your own browser under the key um_analytics_consent, in localStorage. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage for this site resets the choice and the banner returns.

Where analytics does run, IP anonymisation is enabled, so Google receives a truncated address rather than your full one.

The contact form does not send us anything

The form on the contact page is not connected to a server. Submitting it opens a pre-filled message in your own email client — nothing is transmitted, stored, or seen by us until you choose to press send in your mail app. If you close it instead, we never receive anything.

Email you do send us is kept only as long as it takes to deal with what you wrote about.

What we do not do

There is no newsletter, no account creation, no login, and no advertising network on this site. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.

Hosting

This site is served from Cloudflare’s edge network. As with any web host, standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is processed to deliver pages and block abuse. That is operational logging, not analytics, and it happens whether or not you accept the banner.

Your choices

Change or withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site’s browser storage, which brings the banner back on your next visit. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email us — for a visitor who has only browsed and never written to us, the honest answer is that we hold nothing that identifies you.
